Ahead of Asia Cup, Ravi Ashwin spoils Harsha Bhogle's fun
Bhogle thought he would have a travel-free experience in the country not before Ashwin said Dhaka's traffic would make up for it.
Dhaka: The Indian Cricket Team stepped foot on Bangla soil on Sunday for the Asia Cup, hosts Bangladesh up against India on Wednesday. With five out of the six T20I wins, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the team management will have one last chance to fine tune their combination, check bench strength and even ensure that each player gets into match practice, ahead of the ICC World T20 just three weeks away.

However India’s premier off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin experienced the harsh reality of India’s eastern neighbour when he was caught in ‘Dhaka traffic’.
It all started when Ashwin had a humorous chat with cricket commentator Harsh Bhogle on Twitter. Bhogle tweeted about his busy schedule that has seen the IIM-A alumnus visit numerous cities crossing international frontiers within a span of 20 days and was happy that the next few days were guaranteed travel-free in Bangladesh.

But Ashwin had a ‘doosra’ in mind and told Bhogle that the country’s traffic would make up for it.
Check out what happened:
Last 20 days: Sydney, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jodhpur, Pune, Ranchi, Visakhapatnam, Goa, Hyderabad. Now Dhaka. One place for a few days!

@bhogleharsha Dhaka traffic will ensure you stay at one signal for more time than your last 20 days suggest

@ashwinravi99 Haha! When the time comes to move from the team bus to our mode of transport, will be more apparent! May it take long though!
