Legends League Cricket 2023 schedule unveiled

Visakhapatnam: Legends League Cricket (LLC) has officially released the schedule and fixtures for its highly anticipated 2023 season involving six top class teams. The tournament will be held across five cities in India – Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, Visakhapatnam and Surat – from November 18 to December 9.

The tournament will kick off on November 18 in Ranchi with the opening match between India Capitals captained by Gautam Gambhir and Bhilwara Kings led by Irfan Pathan. The encounter will be significant, as it will be played between the 2022 finalists. Then, India Capitals defeated Bhilwara Kings by a staggering 104 runs to claim the coveted trophy.

There will be total 19 matches during the 22-day tournament. It features legendary cricketers who are uniting to exhibit sheer class during LLC 2023.

Following the opener in Ranchi, action will shift to Dehradun on November 24, where Bhilwara Kings will take on Gujarat Giants in the sixth match of the season.

Jammu will host four matches from November 27 to December 1. Vizag, on the other hand, will be the venue for three matches from December 2 to December 4, adding to the cricket fever.

The knockout phase of LLC 2023 will be in Surat, with the semi-finals scheduled for December 5 and December 6. The grand finale of the season will be on December 9.

Two new franchisees have been included in LLC 2023 season. One of them, Urban Risers Hyderabad will be captained by former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina. The other team is Southern Superstars, which will be captained by former Australia skipper Aaron Finch.
