Ganguly posts pic of Pink ball sweets before India’s first ever D/N Test
‘The prince of Kolkata’ uploaded the pictures on his Twitter handle, stating that \'Sweets go pink in Kolkata\'.
Mumbai: Ahead of the second and final Test match against Bangladesh, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, Sourav Ganguly shared pictures of pink ball-shaped sweets. On Thursday, Kolkata turned on pink lights to mark the first-ever Day-Night pink ball Test match, that will start today.
‘The prince of Kolkata’ uploaded the pictures on his Twitter handle, stating that “Sweets go pink in Kolkata”. The West Bengal-based sweets are known as Sandesh.

The former Indian also shared more photos of the pink sweets to celebrate India's debut in the day-night Test cricket.

Earlier, Ganguly had tweeted, "The city turns pink on the pink Test," after the city of joy was decorated with pink lights, especially, some prominent buildings and monuments like the Sahid Minar were decorated with pink lights.

Moreover, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) also posted a video of his hometown which is gearing up for the historic occasion as many high rises were lit in the pink colour.
