Buzz off! Virat Kohli faces untoward incident ahead of Asia Cup
While discussing the team combination if Mahendra Singh Dhoni does not play, Kohli was taken aback when phones buzzed.
Mirpur: Be it on the field or off it, there is no point messing with Virat Kohli or breaking his momentum. On the field he ensures oppositions are taken to the cleaners while off it he would not mind bring reporters in line while handling some tricky questions.

However, there was an incident which tried to put the brakes on Virat’s momentum as he addressed the media ahead of the Asia Cup Twenty20 opener between India and hosts Bangladesh on Tuesday.

The press conference in Mirpur came to a halt as mobile phones recording Virat’s interview buzzed a bit too much for anyone’s comfort.
Although unpleasant, such incidents are a common site during media interactions.
However, one of the coordinators did not look too pleased with the sequence of events as it was hampering the flow of the presser.
As Kohli looked on, the coordinator said, “There is an issue with someone’s phone here. It is buzzing. I request all the phones to be kept on that speaker please.”

Kohli, though did not have a chance to pull off a Dhoni.
A few years back during a press conference, India’s World Cup winning skipper was audacious enough to answer a call on reporter’s behalf as the media contingent had no other option but to burst out laughing.
