Jahan spoke with the CM for around 20 minutes at the state assembly premises.
“I handed over to the chief minister a three-page appeal detailing whatever I had to say. She gave me a patient hearing and assured me that she would go through my complaints and extend necessary cooperation.
"The chief minister also told me that the law will take its our course and I will get justice,” Jahan was quoted saying to Hindustan Times.
On March 7, Jahan allegedly claimed that Shami had extra-marital affairs. On the same day, the cricketer’s central BCCI contract was upheld by the board. But, the 27-year-old got a sigh of relief on Thursday when the BCCI cleared him of all charges related to match-fixing and offered a B Grade central contract.
Shami, who last played for India in January, will go forward to take part in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he plays for the Delhi Daredevils (DD).
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old had recently revealed that he had lost all hopes of reuniting with his wife following the never-ending controversy.
