Mumbai: Mumbai Indians’ Kiwi bowling coach Shane Bond backed Jasprit Bumrah to excel in England during the Champions Trophy. “He has got a skill set which is going to make him a successful bowler. It is his first 50 over (ICC) tournament in England, so it will be a little difficult. The way he has been bowling in this tournament (IPL), if he carries that form to the Champions Trophy, then he is going to play a big role in success for India,” said Bond.

Bond felt Bumrah has delivered under pressure for both Mumbai and Indian team. “I think he will be a world class bowler across all formats,” he said.
Rohit Sharma said Bumrah had all the credentials to be a top bowler in limited-overs cricket. “I don’t want to put extra pressure on him by saying he is currently the top bowler (In T20 cricket).”
