Towards the end of the last session, there was an incident when the crowd refused to give back the ball after Mitchell Marsh had dispatched it for a maximum! The crowd must have thought that a change of ball might have resulted in a swing of fortune for India as the hosts were struggling.
After what seemed like an eternity, one stern-looking person asked the people who had the ball to return it and they eventually did.
Australia captain Steve Smith is batting at the crease on 59 with Mitchell Marsh supporting him at the other end on 21. Australia ended the day on 143/4 with a lead of 298 runs with six wickets in hand.
