Jaipur: The no-ball against Pakistan, in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final, continues to haunt Jasprit Bumrah. While he was criticised during and after the final, the Indian cricketer clearly did not expect Jaipur traffic police targeting him.

The Indian cricketer, who was not picked for the West Indies series, took to his social media account to express his disappoint after the Jaipur traffic police used Bumrah’s no-ball photo with a caption: "Don't cross the line. You know it can be costly" while promoting road safety.

Bumrah clearly was not impressed and wrote: “@traffic_jpr  well done Jaipur traffic police this shows how much respect you get after giving your best for the country.”

“@traffic_jpr But don't worry I won't make fun of the mistakes which you guys make at your work .because I believe humans can make mistakes,” added Bumrah.

Cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra lauded Bumrah for his "dignified" response.

Jaipur traffic police, meanwhile, apologised the Mumbai Indians pacer in a series of tweets and clarified that the banner was just for spreading awareness.
