Piers Morgan taunts Virender Sehwag on Twitter after India's World Cup loss, trolled

The former Indian cricketer gave a fitting reply to the Englishman after he tried to troll him.

Mumbai: Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag and journalist Piers Morgan resumed their banter rivalry on Sunday evening after England clinched a thrilling victory over India by 9 runs in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup. 

Soon after England lifted their fourth Women’s World Cup title, Piers Morgan took a jibe at the former Indian cricketer. Morgan wrote on Twitter, "You OK, buddy @virendersehwag?".

However, the Nawab of Najafgarh silenced the Englishman with a fitting reply. Sehwag replied, "Me and all of India prouder even in this loss than you can ever be mate. We fought well &will only get better & stronger. Enjoy for a change!"

Morgan followed up with a screenshot of a tweet he posted during the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he placed a bet with Sehwag challenging him to pay a million rupees if England wins a World Cup before India secures another gold medal at the Olympics.
