Indian Board pooh-poohs documentary
Indian cricket board hasn't reacted on the issue, whereas Cricket Australia and England and Wales Cricket Board have backed their players.
Mumbai: Photographs of Indian players including Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and L Balaji have appeared with ICC's most wanted man Aneel Munawar in the latest documentary released by the Doha-based Al Jazeera.
However, none of these players have been implicated in any wrongdoing.
“Fans have taken thousands of photographs with me. They meet us at airports, restaurants and several other places and we generally never say no for photographs. I have met thousands of people in my career and how do I recollect when and where the photograph was taken?,” asked Balaji, the former India pacer.

“We don't take the Al Jazeera documentary seriously because they have not come out with the evidence. In the past, the Sun (a London tabloid) alleged that Indian players were contacted by bookies, but when investigated, it found to be fake,” a BCCI official said.
“In the latest documentary, even the channel has conceded that the whereabouts of Aneel Munawar is unknown. So how can we trust these allegations,” the official asked.
