Cricketer Zaheer Khan and actress Sagarika Ghatge got officially engaged on Tuesday in Mumbai. It was indeed a very private affair where only a few close friends and family members were invited to be present while the couples exchanged rings.
An insider reveals, “Both Zaheer and Sagarika are very private people so it was a conscious effort to invite only a few close friends and family members to the engagement. The marriage date will be announced soon.”
At the ceremony, Sagarika looked radiant in a green gown while Zaheer looked stunning in a suit. Few days ago, while promoting her film Irada, Sagarika had revealed that she is in a happy space right now.
Among the people who attended the ceremony were Sachin Tendulkar and wife Anjali, Yuvraj Singh (sans Hazel), Raveena Tandon and Anil Thadani, Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika, Bobby Deol, Mandira Bedi and Prachi Desai. However, it was Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli who stole the limelight for a while when they arrived hand in hand.
