Watch: Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya troll KL Rahul post India's series win vs Australia

Indore: Team India were in high spirits after taking an unassailable 3-0 lead against Australia in the 5-match ODI series against Australia at the Holkar Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

India skipper Virat Kohli was in a cheerful mood post-match and showed off his anchoring skills, interviewing teammate Hardik Pandya. In a casual chat, Kohli and Pandya pulled KL Rahul’s leg, hinting at his inability to impress at the no.4 spot for the Men in Blue.

Kohli soon posted a video on Twitter right after the match and this is how the conversation between him and Pandya goes:

Kohli: “The man of the moment, the Man of the Match. Promoted to number 4 and he delivers. How does it feel?”

Pandya: “Feels very good, I got the opportunity to bat at number 4 and it went well.”

Kohli to Rahul: “You better get the IPL contract (laughing).”

Pandya: “I also require, no no I don’t require, I have it.”

The Indian all-rounder was awarded the Man of the Match award after he impressed with both ball and bat to help the Men in Blue seal the ODI series.

Chasing Australia’s 294, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane gave India a flying start. Steve Smith’s side soon seasoned an opening after Kohli and Kedar Jadhav departed in quick succession before Pandya steered India’s ship to victory.

Pandya is the currently the top run scorer in the series with 181 runs and also has also scalped 5 wickets.
