Dubai: India did the double over arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday at the 2018 Asia Cup with yet another comprehensive win, crushing them by nine wickets this time.

While Sarfraz Ahmed’s men showed promising starts at the start, they eventually let India off the hook and the Men in Blue punished them in ruthless fashion. While a second consecutive defeat garnered a lot of criticism, Harbhajan Singh feels the current Pakistan team is way inferior compared to their Indian counterparts.

"There's a big difference between these two teams. This Pakistani team doesn't have it in them to compete with the Indian team. They were only playing the game but not to win. India are the No.1 contender to win the Asia Cup. India remain the favourites," Harbhajan was quoted as saying by India Today.

While the former India pacer was full of praise for openers Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan, he termed the Indian bowling attack as the best in the tournament.

"Rohit is a class apart. Shikhar is a very talented batsman. The kind of bowling attack we have it's tough to compete against us. India have the experience...MS Dhoni, Rohit, Dhawan, Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar and even Ambati Rayudu," he added.

Shoaib Malik’s gutsy efforts were not enough for Pakistan and Harbhajan said the team was lacking the experience to compete.

"In Pakistan, barring Shoaib Malik there's no other player who has this kind of exposure. That is the difference between the two teams," he added.
