Nagpur: India skipper Virat Kohli is not the one to hold back when it comes to celebrations or sledging opponents. Despite carrying his aggressiveness on the field, the talismanic batsman makes sure he enjoys every moment.

During the 1st Test in Kolkata, Kohli was seen annoyed after Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella applied time-wasting tactics in the final hours of the Eden Gardens encounter. This time, the 29-year-old showed off his dancing skills with a little bit of Punjabi ‘Bhangra’ after Ravindra Jadeja got rid of Dickwella on Day 1 of the second India versus Sri Lanka Test at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Friday.

Dancing down the track aiming for a slog, the southpaw failed to read the length and turn off a delivery by Jadeja that resulted in miscuing his shot. Stationed at mid-off, Ishant Sharma took a simple catch that saw Kohli give Dickwella a perfect send-off.

This is not the first instance, where Kohli has showed off his dance moves.

Earlier during Day 5 of the 1st Test, the hosts were seeking a win while the Islanders did their best to salvage a draw.

Dickwella, who was at the crease indulged in some time-wasting that did not please Kohli and Mohammad Shami. The India captain fumed and had a go at the batsman before the umpire Nigel Llong finally resolved the issue.

After the conclusion of the first Test, Kohli lauded Dickwella for his batting.

"I like to see that character. I liked that competitiveness on the field. He is someone who takes a lot of pride in his cricket. I am impressed with what I have seen so far of him from the last series as well. He has got great ability to do something very special for Sri Lankan cricket," Kohli said.
