Mumbai: Rohit Sharma and Kedar Jadhav did not travel to England with the rest of the Team India squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, next month.

Both Rohit and Jadhav had different reasons for missing the flight, but they are set to reach England in time for the first warm up match against New Zealand, on Sunday.

Rohit had requested the Indian cricket board for an extended leave after the IPL final, in order to attend his cousin's wedding, the Indian Express quoted a BCCI official as saying.

Meanwhile, Jadhav had to wait for his flight as there was a delay in receiving his visa. However, his visa has reportedly been cleared now, and the Maharashtra lad will fly to England on Friday night.
