Twitter fires nepotism salvo as Sachin's son Arjun Tendulkar bowls in Team India nets
Arjun is currently a part of the India U19 squad which will play two four-day matches in Sri Lanka.
London: Arjun Tendulkar is set to test his mettle as he is all set to travel with India U-19 squad to Sri Lanka where he will be part of team taking part in two four day games. Arjun, 18, was picked as part of a 15-member squad by the country's junior selection committee
Tendulkar Junior, spent some time with Team India coach Ravi Shastri, who gave some valuable inputs to the youngster.
BCCI posted a picture of Arjun Tendulkar with Shastri after the Indian team landed in London ahead of its crucial tour of England. The picture was captioned as, "Words of wisdom from @RaviShastriOfc for young Arjun Tendulkar".
Arjun came under the international spotlight when he bowled in the nets in the lead-up to the Lord's Test between England and South Africa in 2017. While many backed the youngster to carry on his father’s footsteps, others high-lightened the issue of nepotism once again.
Ffs there are other 14 members in the Under 19 squad too

Nepotism rearing its head in Indian cricket, again! Why should only Arjun gets access to Indian team for nets? Why not other juniors? Just because he has a famous surname ? @sachin_rt

Why is he bowling to Indian cricketers in the nets. Why this preferential treatment. He was selected only for U-19 4 day matches because he can be shielded with few overs if unsuccessful but in One dayers wouldn't be possible to shield him if was hit for runs. Great strategy.
