Mumbai: Imran Khan, Pakistan’s greatest ever cricket captain, is set to become their new Prime Minister as Pakistan awaits the results of the elections that have grabbed eyeballs worldwide.

While the elections results will be out anytime on Thursday, the local media in Pakistan is indicating that the cricketer-turned-politician and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will pip Shahbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to lead his country one more time, albeit on a different pitch.

While Imran, the cricketer and the captain, and his heroics on the cricket field captured the imagination of the fans, Imran also grabbed a lot of attention off the field as well; be it the social gatherings involving who’s who or music concerts like the one where he and the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan shared a table and grooved to Ustad Nusrat Fatel Ali Khan’s ‘Allahu’.
