Mumbai: Although he seems to be enjoying his stint on television, former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has no plans of being a part of a Bollywood film.

The 40-year-old said that he has his hands full with work and his family doesn’t want him to take up too many things.

“I haven’t thought about it as I am occupied with my family and work. Everything has taken a back seat as of now. I take each day as it comes,” said Akhtar, who is judging a comedy show Mazaak Mazaak Mein along with cricketer Harbhajan Singh.

Talking about his equation with Harbhajan, Akhtar said, “We are good friends off the field but on the field we have had our share of run-ins. He is a proud cricketer and so am I. We don’t like to ask or give an inch and I like it that way. I am sure we both will have fun on the show and there would be disagreements as well. Like everywhere, here too, disagreements are a doorstep to growth. I am positive that we will work well together.”

Akhtar also promised to have clean content on his show. “Duniya kuch bhi boley but log aaj bhi clean comedy banatey hain (Let the world say whatever it wants but people still create clean comedy) and it works. I want our show to be watched across genres and age-groups,” he concluded.
