Wrap-up the series? Indian fans attack James Vince over cheeky tweet
The 27-year-old was picked up in England's squad for the fourth Test as a replacement for Jonny Bairstow.
Southampton: Virat Kohli-led India bounced back in the third Test against England with a 203-run win which kept them alive in the five-match series, but James Vince is not losing hope to wrap up the series.
The 27-year-old was picked up in England’s squad for the fourth Test as a replacement for Jonny Bairstow, who fractured his finger in the last match in Nottingham.
However, the Hampshire cricketer was trolled by Indian fans after he tweeted about the possibility of wrapping up the series in Ageas Bowl here.
“Thank you for the messages of support. Very excited to be joining up with the squad @TheAgeasBowl next week. No better place to wrap the series up,” he wrote on Twitter.

Twitter reacted hilariously to this.
No better place to play and give an extremely poor performance and then disappear for a very long time ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. Indians gonna rock.
