Mumbai: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli has been on a joy ride scoring runs this IPL at the speed of knots. Team India’s Test captain is now 81 runs short of reaching yet another feat of scoring 1000 runs in a single edition of India’s cash-rich league.

However, fans did receive a shocker when Kohli was sent back to the pavilion for a duck during the first Qualifier against Gujarat Lions. The Delhi-born registered naught after 51 innings. His last duck was against Kings XI Punjab in the 2014 IPL.

With the status he commands on the field today, Kohli has attracted enormous attention and has been the talk of the town in the recent times. Recently, he bagged the third spot in top 50 of the most marketable sportspersons by SportsPro.

Kohli also enjoys a massive fan following. Among the millions of fans that follow the 27-year-old is Bollywood babe Poonam Pandey. The B-Town chick was spotted expressing her love for the star batsman in a video.

Kohli’s brilliant run this IPL also ensured his side a spot in the final, where the Bengaluru outfit will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL glory on Sunday.
