The 27-year-old maverick cricketer has a huge fan base across the border and demands huge respect. Recently, umpire Aleem Dar’s son, Hasan Dar, also a cricketer, sent a video to Kohli and the latter even replied in the most inspirational manner.
“Hello Hasan ji. I have received your video. Thank you so much. You are right, hard work and dedication are very important in life for success. So keep working hard to improve your cricket, and don’t lose faith in yourself,” Kohli spoke in a 29-second video that has gone viral.

The second of the four-match Test series begins on July 30 at Sabina Park in Kingston.
