First semifinal: India and West Indies never met in the semifinal of the T20 mega event. They have met thrice in the ICC World Twenty20, West Indies won in 2009 and 2010 while MS Dhoni’s men tasted victory in 2014.

Gayle top-scorer: Chris Gayle scored a 66-ball 98 in Bridgetown in 2010 – the highest individual score within the two teams in World T20.
