Al Nassr's Cristiano Ronaldo broke the record for most number of goals scored in a Saudi Pro League season.

The 39-year-old footballer scored a brace for Al Nassr against Al Ittihad taking his tally to 35 in the season breaking Abderrazak Hamdallah's record of 34 goals in which he scored in the 2018-19 season.

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to the Saudi Club from Manchester United in 2023.

The Portuguese star footballer posted on Instagram after breaking the record with the caption, "I don't follow the records, the records follow me."

However, Al Hilal has won the Saudi Pro League while Ronaldo's Al Nassr finished second in the league.
