Euro 2024 has moved into the knockout stages and the round of 16 will commence from June 29.
The group stages witnessed exciting competition between various teams and also a few upsets which included Austria beating Netherlands as well as Georgia defeating Ronaldo's Portugal. We also witnessed Modric becoming the oldest player to score in a European Championship.
For the major teams, it was not a cake walk as they had faced tough challenges from smaller teams. France and England, who are the favourites in this tournament, were able to register only one win in the group stages.
Spain is the only dominant team in the ongoing tournament as they won all their 3 matches. It was the end of the road for Modric and Croatia in this tournament.
