Copa America 2024 will be commencing from June 20 and it will be held in the United States with the finals being played on July 14.

Two footballing bodies CONMEBOL and CONCACAF will be organising the tournament and 16 teams will be competing in the 48th edition of Copa America, 10 from CONMEBOL and 6 from CONCACAF.
The opening match will be held between defending champions Argentina and Canada. With 16 teams, this year's Copa America would be more interesting.
Let's look at the five players to be watched out in this year's Copa America
Lionel Messi: The Argentina captain will always be first in the list as he led the team to win the Copa America 2021 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The eight-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored 13 goals in Copa America and for Inter Miami scored 12 goals and contributed 9 assists. Messi may be playing his last Copa this year.
Vinicius Junior:
The Brazilian footballer will be the main focus in the team as Neymar won't be playing in this year's Copa America. The Real Madrid player has scored 15 goals in the Spanish league this season and also scored key goals in the Champions league including one in the final.
Christian Pulisic: The US footballer had a good season with AC Milan, scoring 12 goals and 9 assists for the team. The AC Milan player is in one of his good forms and in the warmup match against Brazil he scored the equalizer.
Federico Valverde: The Uruguayan footballer has become a crucial player for both, national team as well as for Real Madrid. He has become one of the best passers in the game. He scored 3 goals and 8 assists for Real Madrid.
Santiago Giménez: The Mexican footballer plays for the Dutch club Feyenoord which helped the club to finish second in the season. In this season, he scored 23 goals and contributed 6 assists. Some reports suggest that Arsenal is planning to sign the 23-year-old striker.
