Usain Bolt calls-in MUTV after Manchester United victory
Something rather unusual happened during a post-match show conducted by Manchester United's own channel MUTV, when Usain Bolt called-in.
Mumbai: Manchester United seem to have turned things around towards the end of 2016, in order to climb to the sixth position on the Premier League table.
The Red Devils rounded off their fifth win on the trot with a 2-1 win over Middlesbrough, after star midfielder Paul Pogba headed in a Juan Mata cross in the 87th minute.
However, something rather unusual happened during a post-match show conducted by Manchester United’s own channel MUTV.
Usain Bolt, who is known to be a big supporter of the Red Devils, called-up during the show, to share his own insight.
The anchor, Mandy Henry, was seemingly taken aback, when she realised who had called-in on her show.
“Usain from Jamaica,” she said. “It’s not Usain Bolt is it?”
“It is Usain Bolt,” said the world’s fastest sprinter from the other side.
Bolt went on to share his opinion on United’s 2-1 win over Middlesbrough, saying that the Red Devils were starting to look like their old selves.
“They came through like the old Manchester United. They came through and pushed on and persevered, the Manchester United way,” said Bolt. “It was a great match, I am very happy about this.”
