A slight slip resulted in a 40-foot free-fall for the man before falling on two people right below him on the ground level.
Mumbai: On Saturday, when Sao Paulo and Gremio locked horns, a 23-year-old man was attempting to climb on the railing of the stadium’s upper deck. A slight slip resulted in a 40-foot free-fall for him before falling on two people right below him on the ground level. Among those two people, one was a 13-year-old girl.

This shocking scene took place at the Estadio Cicero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium in Sao Paulo. Also known as the Morumbi, this stadium hosts Brazilian league’s one of the most famous team, Sao Paulo FC.
The 23-year-old man was later identified as Lago de Melo Rios. He somehow cheated death and was quickly rushed to the hospital. The man is suspected to have suffered a broken femur from the fall. And surprisingly, the 13-year-old girl emerged unscathed from the incident.
