Delhi Dynamos up against Churchill Brothers

Churchill will be hoping to add some gloss to a dismal season by advancing to the main stage of the tournament.

New Delhi: Indian Super League outfit Delhi Dynamos face Churchill Brothers, relegated from the I-League, in the inaugural Hero Super Cup qualifier at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

Dynamos are on a six-match unbeaten run that saw them rise from the bottom of the ISL standings to eighth. Nigerian striker Kalu Uche was the pick of the players for Delhi, scoring 13 goals. Churchill will be hoping to add some gloss to a dismal season by advancing to the main stage of the tournament.

Delhi will be without the injured Jeroen Lumu and Manuel Arana. Winners of the clash take on Mohun Bagan on April 1 in the Round of 16.

NorthEast face Gokulam
ISL’s bottom-placed side NorthEast United FC meet I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC in the second match. Gokulam finished the I-League in seventh place, playing a key role  the title race with their successive wins over Mohun Bagan, eventual winners Minerva Punjab FC and East Bengal.
