Era of top Australian batsmen over: Harbhajan Singh trolls Michael Clarke on Twitter
The former Australia skipper predicted Steve Smith's side to win the series 3-2 before it started.
Indore: Team India took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match ODI series against Australia at the Holkar Cricket Stadium on Sunday with an emphatic 5-wicket victory. Congratulatory wishes soon poured in for Virat Kohli’s side who equalled the joint-highest streak in the format with nine ODI wins.
Michael Clarke, who is currently in India working with the commentary panel, believed that his country could make a comeback into the series after Aaron Finch’s blitz in the first innings.
3rd ODI IND vs AUS. Aussies look to be about 40 short. https://t.co/JCUXyzA1vZ

However, what followed was not the former Australia skipper would have wished for as Hardik Pandya stole the show against Steve Smith’s men once again. Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh wasted no time in trolling the current Australia team on Twitter, urging Clarke to make a comeback in order to improve their abysmal batting performance.

Before the start of the series, Michael Clarke predicted a 3-2 series win in favour of Australia. Now with the series out of their hand, the visitors will aim to restore pride in the remaining fixtures when they face India in the 4th ODI at Bangalore on Thursday.
