World Cup 2020: Zakir Hussain India U-17 women’s coach

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad’s Mohammed Zakir Hussain has been nominated goalkeeping coach for the Indian U-17 women’s team at the preparation camp for the World Cup in 2020.

Zakir is coach of the Indian Railway women’s team and also head coach of the Andhra Pradesh team. He has earlier worked as an assistant coach for Chennai City FC.

The deputy chief ticket inspector at South Central Railway has done specialised goalkeeping courses in AFC and FIFA. He holds AFC’s B-License.
