Visakhapatnam: Telugu Titans registered a thrilling 27-26 win over the Puneri Paltan in theseason three of the Pro Kabaddi League at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag on Sunday.

With his side 26-26, Titans’ star skipper and star raider Rahul Chaudhari fetched a point in the final raid of the game to put the score at 27 and clinch the match.
In another match, Jaipur Pink Panthers begin their opening leg with a 27-18 victory against defending champions U Mumba. After taking a lead of 10-9
in the first half, Panthers continued their domination by trapping the U-Mumba’s raiders and also through superb raids.

Panther’s Rohit Rana pulled off two super catches, trapping U-Mumba’s top raiders to put the team ahead twice, at 14-13 and 16-14 and with another tackle the Panthers clawed for the fourth time to lead 18-15.

The hero of Sundays’ match was Jasvir Singh. His speedy and skillful runs fetched Panthers crucial points.
