Jenzer rope in Maini brothers

The Swiss outfit has pocketed six wins in the GP3 Series along with 18 podiums.

Bengaluru: The new racing season of 2017 will see the Maini brothers Arjun and Kush Maini drive for Jenzer Motorsport. Arjun, the elder of the two, will be back in the GP3 after his strong 10th place finish in the driver’s championship in 2016 while Kush will switch over to Jenzer after finishing fifth in the Rookie Championship in the FIA Italian F4 Championship previously.

Jenzer Motorsport have been ever-present in the GP3 category and competed in every season since its inception in 2010. The Swiss outfit has pocketed six wins in the GP3 Series along with 18 podiums.

Talking about the upcoming season, here’s Arjun said, “I am very excited to drive for Jenzer Motorsport for the second year in a row, I had a good 2016 season in the GP3 and got my first podium as well. I’m hoping to perform more consistently this year and get my first win in GP3.”

Meanwhile, Kush stressed, “My debut season in the Italian F4 was very exciting for me, The switch to Jenzer Motorsport, which won the Drivers title last year, is definitely a step in the right direction for me. The winter testing with Jenzer went very well and It is also a nice prospect to be racing for the same team as my brother.”
