Golfer Minju Kim traded a bowling ball for a golf club but still managed to topple all 10 pins in a sensational display of accuracy. Standing in a bowling alley, the golfer teed up and launched her shot down the lane, hitting the front pin and sending the remaining nine toppling to the floor to score a strike.
The video, uploaded to Instagram, shows Kim address the ball and take a full swing before taking power out of her shot before it flew towards the pins. Kim posted a message alongside the video, in Korean, which translates as: ‘Strike with the driver shots.’ She attempted the feat again but left just one pin standing, before taking out the lone target with her next shot.
There are those, though, who believe the video to be a fake, with the standard of camera work and choice of angles all pointed to by online critics as reasons why the stunt may not be real. Kim, who wore golf shoes rather than traditionally hired bowling shoes for her impressive attempt, is active on social media and regularly posts images of her swing. She recently posted an image of her LPGA Class A membership card, meaning she is a highly qualified teaching professional but is not ranked on the tour.
