Panasonic Open provides rich incentives for players

New Delhi: As the Delhi Golf Club gets ready to host the $400,000 Panasonic Open, there are a number of incentive on the table for players at different stages of their career.
The Panasonic Open, now in its seventh edition, has provided a platform for many to get their breakthrough wins as five of six previous winners scored their maiden Asian Tour success here.
With the season into its last seven weeks, the Order of Merit race too is hotting up as is the scramble for points to retain their Asian cards.
An added incentive for the players this week is the Panasonic Swing. The India event is the second in the five-tournament sequence spanning Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan that ends in 2018 at which point a bonus pool of $150,000 will be shared by the top three at the Japan event.
