Awards for Telangana hockey players

Hyderabad district’s Ranjit Chand won the 1st Telangana Hockey award for his brilliant performances in the Inter-District Hockey Championship.

Kashish Fathima was awarded for her best performance in the junior women’s category. Meanwhile, E.S. Sanjay Kumar from Hyderabad was named Best coach.

In the sub-junior category, it was S. Shiva Kumar of Nalgonda who took the top honours in the men’s category while K. Jyothi of Ranga Reddy was best in the women’s section.

B. Rama Krishna (Warangal) in the senior men’s section while D. Geetha (Ranga Reddy) in the women’s were named best players respectively.

Best manager: Surender Singh (Karimnagar).
Best coach: E. S. Sanjay Kumar (Hyderabad).
Best inter-district: Warangal.
