New Delhi: Olympic bronze medallist Vijender Singh on Monday paid homage to world heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali, who passed away last Friday.

Ex-amateur boxer Vijender, who turned pro last October, shared his thoughts on ‘The Greatest’, saying, “His demise is a great loss for the sports community. It’s a great loss for the world community too. What he has done inside and outside the ring is just unmatchable. We all draw tremendous inspiration from him.” A minute’s silence was observed as a tribute to Ali at the event.
