Dutee Chand, Nagapuri Ramesh for international meets

The Kyrgystan event will be held on June 17 and 18.

Hyderabad: India’s fastest woman Dutee Chand and sprints coach Nagapuri Ramesh have been selected in the Indian athletics team to participate in two meets — the 19th International competition to be held at Tatyana Kolapakova in Bishkek, Kyrgystan and International G. Kosanov Memorial at Almaty, Kazhakstan.

The Kyrgystan event will be held on June 17 and 18. The Kazhakstan competitions will run on June 24 and 25. Srabani Nanda and Merlin K. Joseph are the others who will compete in the women’s 100 metres while H. M. Jyothi will take part in the 200 metres. P. T. Usha is also among the coaches who would be at the event where Arokia Rajiv, Sachin Roby (men’s), M. R. Poovamma and Debashree Mazumdar are in the 400 metres fray.
