Mumbai: US President elect Donald Trump has defeated his Democratic counterpart Hillary Clinton in the 2016 US elections on Wednesday morning.

However, nine years before he was travelling the length and breadth of the United States exhorting people to vote for him, Trump was actually involved in a feud of billionaires in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

But who was he in a feud against? None other than the evergreen WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

Trump and McMahon got wrestlers Bobby Lashley and Umaga to fight it out in the ring for them, at WWE's annual event Wrestlemania. However, Trump had a trump card up his sleeve – Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Stone Cold came in dressed as a referee, and actually impeded Umaga from winning the match, before Lashley got back up and clinched the fight. Meanwhile, Trump and Mc Mahon also had a little tussle off the ring, when the now Republican candidate beat-up his counterpart.

As a part of the bet, the trio of Trump, Stone Cold, and Lashley later went on to shave McMahon’s head.
