Hyderabad: Ladies national champion Vidya Pillai put up a strong show by defeating Indira Gowda 3-0 on the opening day of the BSFI women’s selection camp tournament here on Friday. Vidya crafted a remarkable break of 88 — an unlucky blue preventing her century. India No.2 Amee Kamani too displayed class by winning both her matches 3-0 with commendable breaks.
