Bharat Jagruthi to hold KCR cup state-level volleyball tourney and Land for bus stop

Hyderabad: Bharat Jagruthi will organise a state-level volleyball tournament for the KCR Cup on February 15 and 16 at LB Stadium, to mark Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's birthday on February 17. Bharat Jagruthi founder and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha released the tournament poster here on Monday.

Kavitha said the tournament would be held for men and women. The objective is to identify talented players from rural and remote areas besides encouraging sports, Kavitha added.

Kavitha urged players from all the districts to take part in the tournament in large numbers. She said the state-level winner would get a trophy, medals and Rs 1 lakh cash prize, the runner-up Rs 75,000 and the third place winner Rs 50,000.

She also released the poster of the ‘Dalit Christians Atmeeya Sammelan’ that is scheduled to be held at Wesley Degree College Ground, Secunderabad, on February 15 by the Dalit Christian Association on Chandrashekar Rao's birthday.

Kavitha said the CM was undertaking several revolutionary schemes such as Dalit Bandhu for the upliftment of Dalits.
