City paddler pranitha in indian team
Pranitha is Telangana No.1 in the youth girls category; No.2 in the women’s section and ranks among the top 16 Indians in the youth girls group.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad table tennis player Garlapati Pranitha has been selected to represent India in the Oman Open world ranking table tennis tournament to be held at Muscat from March 20 to 24. She will take part in the youth girls and women’s events.
Pranitha is Telangana No.1 in the youth girls category; No.2 in the women’s section and ranks among the top 16 Indians in the youth girls group.
A computer science second year student at KMIT Engineering College, Pranitha trains at the Hanuman Vyayam Shala Table Tennis Academy run by her coach and father G. Ramesh Kumar, a national level player back in the 1990s.
Telangana State Table Tennis Association secretary Prakash Raju congratulated Pranitha on making the Indian team.
