New Delhi: Young forward Lalremsiami earned defending champions India a 1-1 draw against Korea in their last round robin match at the fifth Asian Champions Trophy women’s hockey tournament in Donghae City, Korea, on Saturday.

The draw helped India remain unbeaten in the tournament so far and emerge table toppers. They earlier won against Japan (4-1), China (3-1) and Malaysia (3-2). India play the hosts in the final on Sunday.

Korea were the first to score, forcing an error from the Indian defence to win a short corner in the opening minute of the second quarter. Seul Ki Cheon’s drag-flick went in near the right corner of the post.

India conceded another penalty corner, committing an infringement while attempting to defend a shot on goal at the start of 4th quarter.
