Mumbai: Patna Pirates skipper Pardeep Narwal produced an 8 point raid as defending champions outclassed Haryana Steelers 69-30 in the second Eliminator of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 5 on Monday. Pirates will clash against Eliminator 1 winner Puneri Paltan at the NSCI Stadium on Tuesday.

Patna skipper Pardeep Narwal scored a record 34 points, the most by any raider in the history of Pro Kabaddi, in doing so he also became the first man to reach 300 raid points in Season 5.

Pardeep came up with the magical raid in the 33rd minute as he took out six Haryana players in one raid to help Patna extend their lead to 52-25. The star raider used his famous skill ‘the dubki’ to dodged six defenders before his hand crossed the midline while other players celebrated in their own half.

Haryana’s defense led by the famed duo of Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar failed miserably as they couldn’t stop Pardeep from scoring.
