Isabel Lahela signs up for WWE
Canadian Olympian weightlifter Isabel Lahela has reportedly joined WWE on a developmental contract.
Canadian Olympian weightlifter Isabel Lahela has reportedly joined WWE on a developmental contract. The 22-year-old participated in a try-out with the company back in September. Aside from her wrestling, Lahela is also a professional model and personal trainer. She has already achieved a number of feats, notably winning the Junior Ontario Championship in 2014. Lahela has recently graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in architecture.
According to Squared Circle Sirens, current NXT superstars Kimber Lee, Heidi Lovelace, Jessica James were the other star names that featured in the September tryouts. They also claim that Lahela is currently training at Superkick’d Wrestling in Toronto, where she has been since August 2016, under the watchful eyes of professional wrestlers Kris Chambers and Ashley Sixx. It’s claimed that she will begin with working with WWE in April where she is expected to begin with NXT.
