Orlando Pro Summer League: Satnam Singh tallest player for Dallas Mavericks
Satnam Singh Bhamara has been toiling hard in the NBA Development League, with Dallas Mavericks' second string side Texas Legends.
Dallas: Over the last couple of years, Satnam Singh Bhamara has become one of the first names on the lips of the Indian basketball fans, after he became the first Indian basketball player to be drafted-in by NBA side Dallas Mavericks.
Satnam’s seven-foot-two frame and his skills as a center may have been revered in India, the 21-year-old is still seen as a raw talent and a potential star for the future in USA. Hence, he has been toiling hard in the NBA Development League, the second tier of basketball in the country, with the Mavericks’ second string side Texas Legends.
The 52nd pick of the 2015 NBA Drafts, however, has been getting his chances with the first team during the off-season. Just like last year, Satnam has yet again been picked in the Mavericks’ 13-man roster for the Orlando Pro Summer League.
Interestingly, one look at the Dallas Mavericks’ roster makes it clear that Satnam is at least three inches taller than any other player in the squad.
