IPL 2024: Can Virat Kohli win the Orange Cup again?

Hyderabad: Virat Kohli with unmatched consistency in the ongoing IPL season is ahead in the race for the Orange Cup and is most likely to take it home one more time.

Scoring at an average of 61.75, Kohli has made 741 runs this season with a top score of 113* along with 5 half centuries.
However, With RCB out of the title race after their defeat to Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator. Riyan Parag and Travis Head have a slight chance to challenge him.
Riyan Parag, with 567 runs and Travis Head with 533 runs are at number 3 and 4 respectively in the top run getters list.
With two matches still pending in the tournament, Parag and Head have to score 174 and 208 runs respectively. This means Parag has to score above 87 runs in each match if Rajasthan qualifies to finals while Head has to score 104 runs in each match subject to Hyderabad's qualification.
With that being said, the chances are high for Virat Kohli to take home the orange cap for the second time in the Indian Premier League.
Meanwhile, David Warner holds the record for the player with most Orange caps. Warner has done the feat thrice.
