Speculations of retirement grew like wild fire after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's parents, Pan Singh and Devaki Devi attended CSK vs DC match on Saturday at Chepauk.

This was the first time since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008, that Dhoni's parents attended a match.
Adding to the speculation, fans got their hands on a video, which shows Dhoni's wife Sakshi saying 'last match' to her daughter Ziva, both of them were also present at the venue.
Responding on the retirement rumors, CSK head coach Fleming said, "No, that's not my role to put an end to it. I have no idea. I'm just enjoying working with him. He's still going strong. I don't even ask these days. You guys are the ones that ask (about retirement)."
In this backdrop, a snippet from a recent podcast of Dhoni with YouTuber Raj Shamani is making rounds on social media platforms, providing Dhoni's view on his IPL future.
Speaking in the podcast, Dhoni clarified he won't announce retirement at the end of the ongoing season.
"No, not right now. I am still playing the IPL. I have kept it very simple, I will take it one year at a time, I am 43, by the time IPL 2025 finishes, I will be 44, so after that I have 10 months to decide if I will play or not. But it is not me deciding, it is my body that decides. So, one year at a time, we will see after that," he said in the podcast.
Meanwhile, a struggling CSK would take on Punjab Kings on Tuesday.
