Here are some records of Novak Djokovic that make him one of Tennis greats!

Hyderabad: Novak Djokovic, the 37-year-old Serbian tennis star, who won the Olympic gold recently had been one of the top tennis players in the world for quite some time now.

After his gold medal triumph on Sunday Djokovic termed it as his 'biggest sporting success' and revealed he may defend the title at the 2028 Los Angeles Games when he will be 41. Djokovic appeared in five Olympic Games till now.
Until Sunday's final, Djokovic's best performance at the Olympics was the Bronze medal he won in 2008.
Recently, the tennis star lost the Wimbledon finals to the young sensation Carlos Alcaraz. Incidentally, the 21-year-old Alcaraz lost the Olympic final to Djokovic.
As Djokovic achieved his ultimate prize in his career, let us look at some of his records that puts him along the side the greats of the game:
-Novak Djokovic remained at the top place for the longest duration, yes he reigned for 428 weeks at the number 1 position, which is the highest by any player.
-The Serbian player had won ten Australian Open tournaments.
-He was the champion of Roland-Garros thrice.
-The tennis star that inspired a generation had won seven Wimbledon titles and four US Open tournaments.
-Djokovic also holds 7 titles of ATP Finals and a Davis Cup.
In addition, he is an 8-time Year-End No 1 and won the Career Golden Masters award twice. And of course the Olympic gold medal.
With the newest addition to his arsenal, Djokovic moves to an elite group, who won all the four grand slam titles (Andre Agassi, Rafael Nadal, Steffi Graf and Serena Williams) and the Olympic gold.
