Italian sensation and Olympic gold medalist Thomas Ceccon was spotted sleeping in the park after complaining about the living conditions at Games village in Paris.

Saudi Arabia rower Husein Alireza has posted a picture on Instagram of the Italian swimmer sleeping on a towel under a tree in the park.
Ceccon, who won the gold medal in the 100m backstroke, complained of no air condition and bad food, reported The Sun.

He said, "Many athletes move for this reason: it's not an alibi or excuse, it's the reality of what perhaps not everyone knows.

"Usually, when I'm at home, I always sleep in the afternoon: here I really struggle between the heat and the noise," he added.

Thomas Ceccon is not the only athlete who complained about the accommodations at the village. Coco Gauff and Assia Touati are the other athletes who joined him.

Coco Gauff revealed that one of her female tennis team mates quit the village after finding the quarters "too cramped."

French swimmer Assia Touati said: "We had no AC in the bedroom but they installed it anyway because it was getting too hot."
