Hyderabad Golf Association Kickoff Season 3 of Telangana Premier Golf League

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Golf Association, organizers of Telangana Premier Golf League (TPGL) announced the commencement of season 3 on Saturday. The announcement was made during a press conference addressed by Ajay Kumar Reddy, Captain, of Hyderabad Golf Association, and D. Vandith Reddy, Secretary of Hyderabad Golf Association along with K. T. Mahhe, Chairman of the Sreenidhi University the title sponsor of the league.

Ajay Kumar Reddy, said, “We are thrilled at hosting yet another league for the golfing community. I would like to thank the Government of Telangana and Telangana Tourism for their support in encouraging this golf League. TPGL, hosted by the Hyderabad Golf Association, has elevated awareness and participation in golf in the twin cities, thanks to the enthusiastic involvement of 16 teams as well as the valued contributions of all participants and sponsors”.

Vandith Reddy said, “Season 3 of the Telangana Premier Golf League has garnered significant interest from the participating 16 teams, with Sreenidhi University returning as the title sponsor for the third time. I express my gratitude to all the team sponsors for their participation, which has contributed to making TPGL the tremendous success it is today. This event provides a valuable opportunity for players to engage in competitive golf and enhance their skills”.

Hyderabad Golf Course, a collaborative initiative by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation and Hyderabad Golf Association, has been honored with the National Tourism Award for the third time as the 'Best Tourism friendly Golf Association 2022-23. Additionally, it has been recognized as the 'Exciting Golf Clubhouse of India 2023' by the Golf Industry Association.
